Flawless Patterns 

Patterns are a really great way to express yourself through the use of different colours, textures, shapes, mediums used and feelings or messages it evokes. The feeling or messages it produces is like what it brings to you, what it conveys across to you or someone else or what it makes you or someone else feel. For example, does it symbolise an important message such as pollution or homelessness through the use of imagery? 

 

You can definitely get involved and make a difference in the world by creating a pattern. For example, maybe you draw lots of plastic bags and write in the middle ‘’ Pollution no way!!!’’ To symbolise the importance that pollution is not ethical, we should pick up our rubbish and put in the bin. To make your pattern inspiring and eye-catching you should use the use of colour to really evoke what the message is trying to come across. Think about your colours wisely as some colours can help bring your message to life compared to other colours. For example use black or grey for pollution to get the message that once pollution is in the air it can turn the sky an ugly and undesirable dark colour such as greys, blacks and browns.
